Next Monday INXS will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of KICK by releasing special Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Red Vinyl and Digital editions of the album that propelled them to superstardom!
1987's KICK firmly established the band as a force to be reckoned with, sending 4 singles - New Sensation, Devil Inside, Need You Tonight and the timeless ballad Never Tear Us Apart - straight to the charts.
The Super Deluxe Edition comes in a luxurious box set with 3CDs & DVD featuring previously unheard live recordings, demos, remixes, a specially commissioned documentary, Track Baby Track, plus unseen footage of the original KICK Tour. Also included is a 64 page book, with Michael's never before seen handwritten lyrics, photos, diary entries, & interviews with the band.
This 6x Platinum album remains a classic, inspiring contemporary covers such as Liv Tyler's sexy rendition of Need You Tonight for the recent Givenchy campaign & Paloma Faith's version of Never Tear Us Apart for John Lewis.
