Ladies, Ladies... Ladies, and not-Ladies, 

I'm sorry I've been away for so long. I've been battling with demons (in video games) and wrestling with rattlesnakes (in my dreams). I have also been busy recording a new record. 

Album number seven is now 'in the can' - as they say - and I can't wait for you to hear it.... soon! Not quite yet (sorry!). All in good time. Darklord of the synth, Flood, is making a final few tweaks before we send it away to get etched into shellac and then it is all yours... 

For now, I have news of my return to the stage. I'll be performing with my new beast of a band in the West End of London at The Borderline (some of you may remember I did a residency there 9... 10...er, 15 years ago...), and before that we will be sampling some ales in the city where humans invented the computer and red devils kick pigs' heads: Manchester.

My passport has been renewed so I'm ready to come visit those who don't live on these fair isles. Soon. All in good time.

The team at Harcourt HQ inform me that tickets for these two gigs go on pre-sale on Wednesday here. More news about shows, music, videos, and wotnot is coming very soon.
